Extensions

I’ve been looking forward to this day for weeks.  We took a field trip to Blooms in Allentown it’s a beauty supply store with everything you could possibly imagine.  They have things that you don’t even know you’ve been looking for until you see them.  Here’s my loot – European Straight Hair Extensions, cute shower cap, eyebrow shaper, white and silver nail polish thin brushes, black eyeliner, slate gray eyeliner/highlighter pencil and an awesome comb clip.  The only thing that’s missing is the 2 inch rollers I bought for wet setting.

The store has so much hair extensions and wigs.  I consider buzzing my hair and wearing wigs because I want my hair changed so often wigs might be a good fit for me!  What do you think?

After our trip back at school we started on my hair extensions.  We only had time for Tracy to sew in 3 tracks.  So my extensions are incomplete because she needs to sew in 1-2 more tracks to make it thicker and they need to be cut/layered to blend with my natural hair.  Here’s a preview – I’ll post more picture when the extensions are totally complete :)

I can’t wait for you all to see the end result when they are totally completed.  I’ve had them in for a day now and they really aren’t bad at all.  I thought I was going to have trouble sleeping and feel uncomfortable but I don’t at all.  It’s all in the braids – if you have good braids put in the better your extensions are and Tracy is an amazing braider!  This is a great way to grow your hair out if you’re inpatient like me.  If I take care of my new hair they should last up to a month.
